Welcome to my personal website
Welcome to AlexGrantz.com. This site lists my resume, a sample portfolio, and more. To contact me, go to the contact page.
In the spring of 2008, I graduated from Miami University and received my Bachelor's Degree in Technical & Scientific Communication. In the classes I have taken, I completed a number of projects and assignments for real clients. Some of these projects can be viewed on this site at the portfolio page.
I recently became employed with Sogeti, an IT consulting company, and will be working in the greater Cincinnati area. Managed Testing is my focus area, but I hope to do a wide range of activities as a consultant for Sogeti. During college, I worked in the Student Financial Aid office at Miami University as an IT assistant. See my resume for more details on my experiences.
In my free time, I love playing and competing against others in online PC video games. From 2003 to 2007, I played the Unreal Tournament series and traveled around the country competing for prizes and cash purses. Not only were these experiences fun, but they were a great learning experience. In addition, I have enjoyed traveling to many United States National Parks - especially in the western part of the country. I visit the parks for enjoyment and to help my brother with his new website, NationalParked.com. Also, sports - especially baseball - have always been a big part of my life. While I have not played in official leagues since high school, I remain interested and follow local and professional events. Go Reds!
If you have any questions or would like to communicate with me, send me a message through the contact page. Thanks!
